This item has begun to pop up on my Facebook page recently - an advertisement. But it looks intriguing and I am tempted to try it, but maybe not just yet.

Do you buy enough of anything to warrant a smoker?

I'll try that again!

Of course not!

But it's fun, isn't it? Simon really enjoyed it as a sort of hobby, and his smoked garlic was to die for - at least we thought so. Smoking is like baking - I have never done either. wink

Not strictly true, you did used to smoke...whistle  Didn't HFW make smokers out of metal dustbins or some such?

I'll try that again!

Haha - yes indeed, I was a smoker for 36 years. No doubt it will catch up with me some day. eeek

I guess HFW could have made a smoker contraption out of most anything. Fiona did it using a chiminea and also the flue of the wood burning stove in her kitchen, It's not rocket science technology is it? laugh

My favourite was the commercial smoking enterprise in Orford - a lovely little village to visit. In fact, one of the best things about Suffolk is it coastal towns and villages.

Yes, I love Suffolk and Norfolk very much.

I'll try that again!
