Awwww - I didn't see your note in time, Val, so I just left the mixture dry overnight.

The gas stove in our tiny kitchen was throwing out heat like a volcano with two rings going under two large saucepans for the 8 hours of steaming. I thought it was extraordinarily hot and even checked the oven in case that was switched on but it wasn't. They were done at 8 p.m.

This morning it was still like a boiler house. Seems I inadvertently switched on the grill at noon yesterday.

"How do you spell 'Love'?" (Piglet).

"You don't spell it, you feel it" (Pooh).

'A hug,' said Pooh 'is always the right size!'

Of course not - just make sure it's cooked for about 6 hours, and then on the day another 2 hours. That should do it! ok

You can even make it the day before. Won't have time to mature but tastes great.

Are we having fun yet? I am!
