wave I was watching the lovely Michel Roux Jnr on Food & Drink the other day, making french madeleines. It reminded me of the madeleine pan I bought 6 months ago and have never used so I have made my first ever batch!!

wave Oh I just love Michelle Roux. I like the way he is doing Food and Drink.  And yes those madeleines do look delicious.

Yes, I like him too Danuta, he's so passionate about food (must be coz he's French! big_laugh).

Don't think I've ever had madeleines.....at least you've finally got round to using your pan!

Donna, I have cooked these before, and I remember my niece and her family were staying with us – the madeleines disappeared in a twinkling - they are so delicious … and so easy to eat! laugh

These ones didn't last long either! I am very surprised at how easy they were to make and so quick...from start to finish in around 1/2 hour...if you don't mind eating them still warm i_am_hungry

I'll be making them again when my husbands daughter and granddaughters visit...I think they'll be very impressed laugh
