Yes I am, loving it.  Paul Hollywood looks so gorgeous.....until he opens his mouth and kills the contestants with his sheer brutal honestysurprisedbig_laugh.  At least Mary always finds something nice to say to boost them back up, even if she doesn't like their efforts.

Can't stand Paul Hollywood, he is so unkind, brutally honest, no, just brutal!  He had them all in tears tonight, a lesson in how to diminish people!steamangry

We're watching tonight's on the iplayer... not seen the tears yet but Paul Hollywood could do with being a bit more encouraging and less brutally critical.

It's been quite a baking night on tv though, with the hairy biker's european baking thing on immediately before.

I agree he could couch his criticisms rather more kindly, but do still feel he is being totally honest.  And to balance that, he does praise highly as well - which I think the contestants appreciate more because it comes as such a pleasant surprise, given his reputation.  I think they're all putting themselves under more and more pressure as the weeks go by......it was even more apparent this evening, because the final is so close now I guess.

Fair play to them all......I do love baking but would never do something like that, my nerves wouldn't stand it.

Being a Scorpio, I would not be able to keep my mouth shut, if he had a go at me.

we just watched an episode tonight, i think it was a repeat of something earlier in the week, a few of my friends had been commenting on favouritism, having watched tonight, I can sort of see what they mean, I thought the girl that won's cake looked like something a 5 year old would do.

I watched the semi final tonight and was really surprised to see that it was not Ruby who went, her technical and show piece were both a mess

Same here, I was sure she was going to go, so was she!! I think Frances is so inventive, don't think much of Kimberley though, she's too cocky - when the judges (dare!) to criticise her the expression on her face is like "Really?! Are you sure?!"

We like Kimberley, Ruby was close to going last night it was that Becca had three so so bakes and Ruby had a mix of good and bad. Frances is a bit annoying at times, but works hard for what she creates.
In the profession I worked in , someone who was messy was not seen as a bad product developer- it shows they think differently, but it can cause them stress, so you need a balance of messy thinking with timeliness.

Are we having fun yet? I am!

Ruby should have gone last night, full stop!. Kimberly is on track to win, but do like Frances's creativeness, she might just come up on the outside.
