Does anyone have a really good recipe for Syrup tart?

I have not tasted it since I was a very young lad!

You talking to me?

I've never heard of that one Ray, does it just have Golden Syrup in a pastry case do you think?  Hmm, the thought of that makes me feel queasy!

I'll try that again!

It is syrup in it, but it's called treacle tart, I think ..... very strange !!!!

Dessert pastry, with breadcrumbs soaked in syrup as filling.

You'll probably find many others, Ray and Helle, but this one is as good as any, I would think.

I can't resist them either .... big_laugh

wave  I don't think I have ever tasted one, but I have seen various  people make it on Masterchef  and they looked delicious.  Please let us know how it tastes.

Next time you have visitors, Danuta, make one!

When you realise how more-ish it is, you won't have to eat it all !!!!!!!!!!  big_laugh   big_laugh

(I'm afraid there are times when I can't resist another  piece ...)

One of the highlights of school dinners was the treacle tart- gorgeous!

Best not to think about the lowlights.
