I've had it for quite a few years now, all due to the Scoliosis which has reduced the length of my spine making my major organs fit into a much smaller space than they used to have.  Sometimes it depends on the way I sit, or it could be that the food is too dry - all sorts of different things.  I can cope if at home but it is very stressful if it happens in public.

The potaoes were too small to get the skin off yet I sliced three tiny cooked ones today and sautéed them with the runner beans and I had no problem, weird? Me? doh

I'll try that again!

No, I don't think it's weird.

A couple of days ago, having my usual salad lunch, and suddenly I was unable to finish it without feeling really unwell - too full (think not!); flavour became ?wrong (why?); and it became a real struggle, and then I didn't feel right! I put it down to the heat, but who knows! whistle There were  no after effects either! confused

As you say, there are lots of reasons why it could happen, but still worrying when it does.

Hope you're feeling better now though. big_hug

Cherry and coconut cake to take to our quilting group. (Secretly hoping there'd be some left for OH, unfortunately it was either too popular or everyone cut large pieces!) I took home an empty cake box. surprised

Pear and custard tart SWMBO made with the windfalls, very nice but calorie heavy.

A friend has given me a basketful of very large quinces. I cooked one load and asked OH if he's like a crumble - I think it'll be nice to try.

After that, I guess it'll have to be quince jelly, butter, or paste. wink

Found a pot of salted caramel frosting in Tesco , so made vanilla and salted caramel cupcakes. Used a two egg 4 ounce Victoria sandwich mix with vanilla bean extract and marks and Spencer's gluten free self raising flour. Now I just need to put a lock on the tin😀😀😀

Ooh yum Eileen, they sound delicious!  I made a nice cake yesterday before we went out for the day, so we didn't have to spend money on cakes in the tea room.  It's a sultana, pear and ginger cake, more or less a Victoria sponge mix with 3 eggs but a bit more flour, to support the weight of the fruit and stop it sinking to the bottom.  We had a slice with a cuppa when we came home yesterday, it's lovely.

No cooking tonight, having a Ploughmans with home cooked ham, Brie, a sliced apple, homemade coleslaw and my sourdough bread.

Both your cake and bread sound nice Sue. How do you get on making your bread, I used to love sourdough, but I was diagnosed with a wheat allergy 6 months ago, and i don't know if it would work with Gluten free flour
