Wow, that sounds spectacular Nadine, and the salted caramel sauce, think I'm just going to have to have a go at that, I LOVE prunes. I usually make the Nigella boiled chocolate christmas cake which is heavy on the prunes.

Hi Janet,

If you love prunes you might like to try this dessert from Brittany, Far Breton. You can make it with Buckwheat or plain flour or a mixture of both, as I sometimes do.

Recipe here.

A really good brunch or supper dish, Hot Florentine Muffins, using lots of eggs and spinach in a light yogurt sauce; even better if you make your own muffins.

Recipe here

Of course there is the old favourite, Eggs Benedict

Hmm Nadine, not sure about that recipe, it says it's a custardy type thing, but with the flour I'm thinking more bread and butter pud type texture and I have this thing about soggy texturesflaming_nora

I know what you mean Janet, personally, I can't eat bread & butter pudding.....definitelyflaming_nora eeek for me, but I can eat soft quiche-y things. I can't eat clafoutis, but can eat Yorkshire puds.....weird. confused  I think it that the ones that are sweet make me want to vomit but the savoury ones are fine. I had terrible trouble as a child trying to explain why I could not eat certain things & now when I think about it I am sure most of them were to do with texture & sweetness plus my hatred of suet, which I cannot stand because it coats my palette for hours. I love dumplings but make them with butter instead.

I remember listening to Nigella ages ago, when she said she loves the combination of chocolate and peanuts.

W e l l  - I came across this recipe this evening.

I might just have to make these ...... i_am_hungry

Mmmmm, looks good!
By the way I did the avocado chocolate mousse, I made it by taste and added a bit of icing sugar and a couple of spoons of creme fraiche. It went down well and no one guessed the secret ingredient.
