The sloes are ready in Norn Iron now and, thanks to my wonderful Dad and brother, I have 1.7kg of the beauties for gin making.

Tomorrow is shopping day. So far the list reads "gin, gin, gin, 2 kilner jars, cat food, milk and red onions". Might need to add more gin 😉

We called into Ikea on the way home and bought half a dozen of their jars, some for the gin, one for the store cupboard and a spare. We then called into Tesco and bought 3 bottles of gin.

I made the first lot tonight, following Fiona's recipe of course.
