Going shopping in the morning, seth, I'll have a look at the frozen juice and give you a reply. (If Michelle doesn't beat me to it.....whistle)

Does it mean juice concentrate, or doesn't that exist any more?

I remember seeing frozen juice concentrate in the supermarket only a couple of years ago - it worked out more expensive than cartons of 'shelf juice' and I wouldn't be surprised if it tastes awful.

I've got too many memories of camping holidays when I was a kid and my folks would buy powdered orange juice and dissolve it to serve in the mornings and it tasted horrible!

Never tried making slushie style drinks - with the warm weather we've started getting recently it seems like a good idea... a gin and tonic slushie would probably go down well since OH doesn't like whisky

I've been making fruit granitas and adding a good glass or 3 of spirits to the mix before freezing them for years now. They're a barbecue dessert favourite 🙂 I love vodka in strawberry or raspberry granita, and gin in lemon or lime granita. But your recipe sounds interesting, seth - like a frozen ice tea. One to try some time.

My fault for taking the thread off track. I posted in the wrong topic sorry

We adore granitas in summertime - pink grapefruit works very, very well.

Try this chocolate sherbert for a change, it's great with fresh raspberries on a hot day
