| | I couldn't hold out any longer so I opened one of the smaller bottles (a pint) and took a shot then another, then another then a larger one and so on until the contents had all gone. It was so good, smooth and such a pleasurable drink I can tell you. I went to bed fine but at three o'clock in the morning my youngest, Evie, woke up after having "a bad dream about a loud pig" oops I think that was me. I noticed once I got out of bed how marrow creeps up on you very unexpectedly and so I staggered into Evie's room to comfort her and fell asleep on the floor. In conclusion this marrow should be a belter in the spring and with the next two coming up, I'm looking forward to a blinding 2012 as well. |

| |  The last post didn't go in so I hope this one does.
Thank you for the concern Toffeapple but I believe that now I must be indestructable as I've eaten and drunk so many odd things that my body has given up being ill as a result. I will however take it easy with the rum but I'm looking forward to my house warming so that I can crack open the next bottle and also my home made cider. Danny' I've fermented three marrows so far but the next two will have to wait until next spring for the chance to be tasted.
