I admit it, I haven't tried this.

I saw this on Instructables, and the folks that post how-to's on this site seem to really know their stuff, so....here you go....

If you can't be a shining example, be a terrible warning!

Oh now that is interesting.

I brought my Mum a bottle of Bols Pomegrante liqueur back from Amsterdam a few years ago. (We'd spent an afternoon at the House of Bols Museum and sampled many, many, many of their wares. Mostly because the barman turned out to be a Dubliner and him and my Dad got talking. Which is no surprise, because given half a chance my Dad always gets talking).

Anyway, meanwhile back at the point, my Mum thought the liquer was absolutely gorgeous. Sadly when it came to get a replacement bottle it turned out Bols had stopped making it.

I made some pomegranate vodka for my BIL last christmas, was very simple -  I didn't make the vodka myself, obviously, although, hmm, there's a thought. Bet I could make a bit of dosh at these village fetes with a bit of home 'brew'. Anyway the recipe for that was v easy and my BIL said delicious. It was in the Nigella Christmas book, but if anyone wants recipe, I'll dig it out
