Can anybody explain why sometimes when you fill an icecube tray the icecube splinters or does not come out whole? The next time it is filled all the icecubes are perfect!!!!!!!!!

The more people I meet, the more I love my animals!

Sandy, it's been so many years since I had a freezer that I can't remember making ice-cubes...  Big_Laugh

I'll try that again!

Long time since I have made ice-cubes too but can't ever remember that happening. Having them in so solid that I can't get them out without loads of water and then nearly losing everything in the sink, now that I do remember.Whistle

We have an ice cube tray which makes long thin ice 'cubes' which are great for a tall glass or even dropping into a bottle. Whether they come out in one go or not is a bit hit or miss.

Visit my blog for food, drink, photography and hamsters.
