As there seems to be a lot of talk about babies on the forum at the moment I thought this link might interest various grannies & grannies-to-be. Here are a mass of ideas to try; both in yarn & in fabric. I think they look lovely & perfect to use all those odd scraps of fabric which we seem to hoard as well as odds & ends of wool etc.

Hi Aly,

I thought of you immediately I saw that list of goodies.

There is another page on Tipnut which is full of baby gifts, especially nice are the little stuffed boats & the crib mobiles.

I hope all goes well with the baby delivery today, as well as your own medical results.

Yes, they are lovely - might have to try some of these. I have already made the Saartje crossover ones, very easy and looked lovely.

Love the little bootees, might just have to have a go at them, no more grand children on the way at the mo, but it doesn't harm to be prepared

I have just found these useful felted knitted shoes for toddlers. Just think if you make them too large you just felt it a bit more, in hot water, to shrink to size.
