BARGAIN BASE ?
I'm no sure where I should be posting this but , if I'm wrong it wont be a first ,
I was going in to Halfords in Edinburgh and I spotted this shop --BARGAIN BASE , so being a nosy git I popped in , it's basically the special offers that LIDL have but are left with after the promotion is over , everything is just in great big cardboard boxes on pallets , in sections - 50p, £1, £3, £5, £10, some is junk , but there are lots of good bargains to be had , especially in the tools, things like S.D.S. DRILL BITS £5 FOR 9 , battery screwdrivers £5, fishing gear , rods that were £20 , now £10, packets of hooks 80 for £1, fishing lines 2 for 50p, triangle sanders £5, sandpaper to fit them 50p a pack , I bought a fair bit stuff including packs of 5 setsof food storage boxes 50p, and kids socks 2pair for 50p, (now young Jamie wont have to worry if his socks end up in the bucket when papa takes him foraging !
It would be worth your while trying to find out if one of these shops are near you

I have never heard of this shop but it seems interesting.

I've never heard of them either and unfortunately a google search just brings up a load of rubbish so I've no idea if they're nationwide or not.

Visit my blog for food, drink, photography and hamsters.

might just be one that is local to Edinburgh , I cant see it being a long term project , but good while it lasts , the tools are the Parkside brand , not the best but at the price you cant go wrong
