Just had a look at this, about 700 items within 10 miles of me. Bid placed on an undercounter freezer- OH gets twitchy if I want to put stuff in her chest freezer- tells me it takes up to much room, except it is 99% full of stuff she put in there! Soif successful, will put in garage, which I have been decluttering over this summer.

Have to laugh, Martin.  When I checked my Postcode I found that there were only 4 items within 10 miles of me!!!!!   A wee bit fewer than you eh!! big_laugh

I have never been brave enough to bid on eBay, though I have bought some items on the 'Buy it now' basis.

You certainly got some bargains Val.

I'll try that again!

Have decided not to use my molinex mincer/sausage maker to make sausages after reading quote by Confucius "a burger is sausage without skin" so decided just to make burgers. Any ideasideas? would like to add pigeon as I have a glut and maybe pheasant. Going to butchers tomorrow so will get other meat based on recommendations. That way I can blame someone else.

I always just make my sausages into burger shapes, I don't like handling the skins.  I just use any sausage recipe you would use to make sausages, I think I have a recipe for cumberland sausage on my blog.

sign up to your local freecycle, and then you get the things for free. It is a worldwide orginisation Aly so should be one in france. I have had a perfectly working fridge and even a caravan off there. You can also put a wanted ad and someone may just have the item you want lurking in a cupboard. It is also a good place to get rid of stuff you don't want

That's so true, Eileen - when our daughter's microwave failed, she looked at Freecycle, and found one being given away. I went with her, and she had another microwave on the same day. It only lasted a year, but hey-ho, it was free! laugh

"How do you spell 'Love'?" (Piglet).

"You don't spell it, you feel it" (Pooh).

'A hug,' said Pooh 'is always the right size!'

Not sure if mentioned this before apologise if I have. A mate wanted me to check the price of Kilner jars in Wilkos, thought they were to expensive. I suggested I put a want on freecycle. I was offered 25 delivered to his house. I confiscated 10 and then i bought via bay crazy 16 for £6.50 (something like that). PS I am in part bragging 😉

Resisting the urge to view bay crazy and freecycle at the mo, trying to clear the house a bit rather than add to the clutter.
