Every few days I take a bag with me on our morning walk and collect sticks to help light the fire in the morning but My Husband reminded me we have a huge bag of tree bark that fell off the logs as they were being tipped off the tractor whilst being delivered. Yesterday I had an almost 'free' fire just using these, so if any of you have wood burners they are great for starting the fire and help keep it ticking over during the day.
