Janet has a recipe that I would like to try, and it requires eucalyptus leaves - so perhaps the best person to ask is Janet !!!

What sort of leaves do I need, Janet ?

I can feel the love from here.........awww bless, you are such a friendly lot big_hug

I've got several unopened packets of seeds going spare, some given to us, some free gifts off the front of magazines.  I'll have a sort through them in the morning and say what i've got that's surplus to requirements, anyone who wants them is welcome to have them.

Mature leaves have the best levels of 'active' ingredients. These are the spear shaped ones, rather than the round ones. does that make sense?

Might be off line for a few days while away in Ireland, but if anyone wants some of the recipes let me know.

I have a few unopened packets of flower seeds surplus to requirements - Petunia Confetti Mixed F2, Delphinium Pacific Giants Mixed and Marguerite Daisy Chain.  If anyone wants them I'll be very happy to post them out.

Husband says he's going to sort through his box of veg seeds too, will post what he's got spare (if anything, he's a bit of a hoarder!).

I know what it's like, Sue! Trouble is, so much stuff incoming but nothing outgoing means our house is more like Ye Olde Curiousity Shoppe than a comfy space.

Nowt I can do about it steam

I was in Wales during the week so I missed this thread. What a great idea. It reminds me that I had plans to set up a simple Classified Ads section but I was never able to get the software to work for some reason. I am taking an 11 day break over Easter so will put it on the list of Things To Do.

JUST spotted this!  what a good idea!  will try and send things as and when.

Just a thought though; not sure what the regs are posting to us over the border as it were?

Ah, because I keep mine chopped back (poor thing) I only get the round leaves.

seeds are fine within the EU but they can be a bit funny about "plant material"

Hi Janet, yes I would love your recipe please - I believe you have given it to me already, but I saved it and put it somewhere safe ....... heard that before?

Also, Danuta, perhaps you can grab me some leaves in readiness, only when it's convenient, of course. That'd be great !

Thanks everyone !!!  big_hug
