Hi BS - the first thing I would try is to delete the cache of files from web sites that have been saved to your hard drive. That will force a refresh of those files from the website when first you revisit them and it may clear the problem.

In Internet Explorer:

From the Menu bar:
Select Tools
Click on Internet Options
You will probably be presented with the General tab of the options window. If not, Click on the General tab.
In the second section down, Browsing history, click the Delete button.
On the next widow that pops up, you can choose what you want to clear. I usually clear everything but the important ones to clear are the first three:
Uncheck Preserve Favourite website data
Check Temporary Internet files
Check Cookies
The click the Delete button

Refresh your browser or visit the forum again and see if anything has improved.

If not, then try this.
Again, from the Menu bar:
Select Tools
Click on Internet Options
Click on the Advanced tab

The first group of checkboxes should be Accessibility
Check both of these:
Reset text size to medium for new windows and tabs
Reset text size to medium while zooming

Then click OK.
Exit IE and start it again. Visit the forum and see if that makes a difference.

Many, many thanks Danny - and I do hope that I don't find a widow popping up, but if I do, I will treat her kindly - rest assured.

Do the widows pop up from show polish boxes? ( with or without teats)

I think we should be told.

Kateuk makes things at http://www.etsy.com/shop/finkstuff and sometimes she does this too http://www54paintings.blogspot.com/ and also this http://finkstuff.weebly.com/

Dear KateUK, and other rabble rousers. According to a recent exposé in the Daily Telegraph, widows appear in all manner of unexpected locations (even in MP expense claims for show boxes), sporting aforementioned attributes (or not) as they choose.

You asked. You have received an answer (of sorts) Big_Laugh

Did somebody mention fruit case? Let's get this here topic back on track Big_Laugh

Seriously, I was just lazing about on Sunday and I clicked on that top-right banner for the timber raised beds that leads to Harrod Horticultural. This is not a promo in any way, but I love their steel frame fruit cages. Especially the ones with the fancy Raj-style netting roofs. A nice little movie. I would love a few of those, or one huge one to cover our entire plot.

I wonder if they also do a slug proof device?
