What would anyone suggest as a nice present for a gardener in the £20 range? Especially one that probably has everything.roll_eyes

well the obvious answer would be vouchers, so they can get themself some obscure items, but what about 6 months subscription to a gardening mag of some sort?

I must admit I don't mind vouchers for youngsters, but not sure I like them for older folks. Maybe just me whistle

If they are in the UK, vouchers for the RHS might work, though I had to look hard to find out that they do them--it says contact customer services for more information at the bottom of this page. Then if they duplicate something they have, they have done it, not you!

A bee house, maybe?

Personally I would love a basket filled with different seed packets, but that is just me!

I love this idea - especially if they were more unusual seeds.

I would appreciate a basket of seeds too but not sure the recipient of this present would - however I think I may have sussed it a wine grape collection because he's also a bit of a wine buff too cheers

Edit: the quote thingy doesnt seem to work on our tablet computer!
Ooh, the grape thing looks good. As someone who likes making wine, I know for a fact that I'd love a gift like that.

Sorted then! We have tried 3 vines and they have all died. Probably because I am not French, it was offended at being planted by an English "roast beef" as they call us here!

Correct Mike he does like his wines, so I thought it would be a bit of fun. Just a slight problem of location perhaps but there is always the greenhouse or polytunnel whistle Land is not the problem.cheers
