Oh good I am glad I am not the only one, I was quite good the rest of the day, so I did not do much damage.

Are we having fun yet? I am!

I am an emotional eater too which is why I have spent my life trying to losing weight. Weird thing is food never makes it better! Hope you resolve the friend issue.

Thanks Aly, nothing that needs resolving, it wasn't that kind of upset.

I've got tomorrow's Fast Day foods all sorted so it should be a good day.

This may be of interest to Sue and Aly, read an article the telegraph did , had 4 people testing 4 different diets, 1 was the paleo diet and 1 the 5-2 diet, the person on the paleo diet lost the most weight but the least body fat %, the person on the 5-2 diet lost the least weight but the most body fat %.

Never give up Tomorrow is another day.

Yes I saw that on Sky news! Paleo is too hard for me as it does not fit with normal life. I always have the complication of being veggie so struggle to find allowed foods. That is why 5:2 is better when I can cope with it. I have lost 20lbs following weight watchers and now plan to go back to fasting to maintain. Problem is cold weather makes me need more food!

Trying to enjoy life as it is

That's interesting, Eileen......I've noticed my weight loss has slowed considerably, but my jeans waistbands are definitely looser.

Well done on the weight loss, Aly.  I'm sure it's a naturally inbuilt thing that the body craves more and heavier food during cold weather.

Thanks Sooo, I did manage salad for tea, but not sure it was low cal, there were potatoes and eggs and stuff in it and then I shaved Parmesan over the top too, oh and then there would be those two slices of cheese and mustard crusty bread, oh and the butter on them, oh and the glass of wine...ah, but, I've not eaten any chocolates tonight. wink

It can be done, I'm sure!

I saw our French neighbour in January, and she was quite chubby, and constantly pulling her cardi around her tummy. When we saw her this week - well, wow, I can't believe someone could have such a tiny waist - my bro just said "Whoa - she's voluptuous!" Then again, yesterday, he said "She's gorgeous, isn't she?" Whatever it is, she's achieved it!

There's hope for us all!  big_laugh

"How do you spell 'Love'?" (Piglet).

"You don't spell it, you feel it" (Pooh).

'A hug,' said Pooh 'is always the right size!'

Lol - he had lots of cuddles last night - and it was all in very good humour.

Actually, it was a brilliant evening, thoroughly enjoyable. big_laugh
