I know I said I wasn't going to diet again, but had to do something. So have been back on my south beach diet for a week and a half, 2 kilos down so far.

Well done Eileen!

Been too distracted with stuff to pay much attention to dieting over the weekend, but am back on it today.  Just had smoked mackerel and salad for lunch, roast pork with new (not roasted!) pots and veggies for dinner tonight.  Husband will have a fruit crumble and ice cream for pud, i'll have a few of our strawberries.

For added diet motivation, I've today made arrangements to have a weekly weigh in and diet discussion with our practice nurse.  The fear of being told off should keep me on the straight and narrow!

Just weighed myself today, and happily I have lost 2 lbs by not being a glutton, so moving back to the weight I want to stay at (10st) only 6 lbs to go.

 Are we having fun yet? I am!

Got my Diet Plate, today, it is too big for me to use, as cannot lift anything which is heavy for me, but will use it to measure my Portions then transfer them.

Thank you ladies.

Well, it's not been a particularly healthy diet day, but have still come within my daily calorie allowance.....just!  Dashed out without breakfast, so had a skinny latte and 2 shortbread fingers in a café.  Steak pasty for lunch - I didn't eat the thick crimped edge of the pastry though, although had a packet of crisps as well!  Redeemed myself just now with tea though......cold roast pork with a couple of baby new potatoes and plain (undressed) mixed salad.  Strawberries and a little reduced fat Elmlea for pud.

Did 15 mins on the exercise bike just before tea.

Having dieted on and off throughout my entire adult life, this is the first time I can actually say that, as well as being far more positive than ever before, I am enjoying the diet and exercise.
