Don't know whether anyone else has seen it, but I stumbled across this website today:  http://wildthymebank.wordpress.com/

Loads of foraging recipes on it, some quite, erm, interesting (garlic vodka? eeek).

We went to a place called Uphill today, been there a few times, it's just south of Weston super Mare and is entirely different in character - small, pretty village, very quiet, nice beach (although in high season car parking there costs £5.00!!! Rip off! thumbs_down).  At the other end of the beach road is a free car park adjacent to a nature reserve, boatyard, estuary, cafe - lots of lovely walks.  We noticed on our walk an absolute forest of blackberry bushes, as far as the eye could see, along with a few sloes......the only trouble being, most of this wonderful bounty is inaccessible, being behind ditches or fences or in boggy ground, or simply behind masses of spiky brambly stuff aargh.  And why is it that the berries or sloes that are the biggest, ripest and gorgeously juicy looking are up so high you couldn't reach them without a ladder? ponder

Alongside the South Forty Foot Drain, the ground is well watered and productive.

Sorry, I don't know how to make these come up as pictures, but if you click through you will see some lovely stuff ready to harvest. Conducted tours available, bring your own basket/sack/small lorry.

Clever clogs!  tongue Why is it that when Janet and I post pictures, they get lots of gobbledegook around them and you did it perfectly?

I'll try that again!

You have set me a problem now -  am going to have to post a random picture here to see if I can, and then tell you how it happened.

Ok, what I did was find the picture on my Flickr account and click the share button. I copied the address, and then when I came back to here, clicked on the "insert image" button, and pasted the address into the appropriate box. Last ime I got a line of text, which turned into pictures when I saved the post, but this time, I have got a little box with a bit of torn paper. So now I will save this post, and see what happens. Want an icon of crossed fingers.
