Hi - I need help

How do I go to topics with unread posts

My screen tells me how many there are, but I can't work out how to go straight to them, and twice now I have clicked the liitle open book thing thinking it would take me there, and it doesn't - yes I know I'm a bit thick to do it twice, but it was a few weeks apart and I forgot.

I've ended up having to trawl through the forum looking to see where things have been updated.

You are not thick, let's get that straight immediately!  The forum is quite difficult to negotiate but, if you go to the top of the page, underneath Inbox, Watching and Subscribed, there is a box, to the right of 'search' that says New/ recently updated topics, click on the arrow to the right of that and you'll see a box with new posts in red.  Then just point and click...easy when you know how

I'll try that again!

I always forget it is at the top of the page. embarassed

It is at the bottom of every page too, which is very useful when you read to the end of a thread. ok

Now the forum is doing funny things to the unread posts lists, telling me I have one thread with unread posts and nothing is shown in red. aargh

A few minutes ago, it was two unread threads and no red, so it isn't even consistent. How can I even try to keep up at this rate. big_laugh

You'll just have to look at each post to see if there is something new.  Or go to the Forum page and see if there are any red markings there, you should be able to see unread then.

I'll try that again!
