Hi everyone

I posted a new topic on 23 July about Grapefruit marmalade but I can't see it anywhere.

My profile shows I last visited here on Tuesday 23rd July so I know I haven't imagined it and I did check the post was all ok after I entered it, but now it's disappeared.

Am I going bonkers doh

Thanks for any help in finding it.

Maura

very odd, i was sure i replied to it too Maura, suggested either a river cottage recipe or one out of that book i sent you, in my version of that book though, the recipe is not in the index for some strange reason, so you'll need to flick through the book to find ti, I think its called ruby red grapefruit marmalade

Ooh thanks Jan, I will definitely use that one. I should have looked there first, it was just I remembered someone on here telling me how nice it was so thought would ask.

Not sure what happened to my post – do you think someone is trying to tell me something big_laugh

I'll let you know how it goes. I've done quite a few batches of strawberry, raspberry and cherry so fancied a bit of a change. Nectarine was nice – very fruity if you know what I mean roll_eyes

I'm loving the sunshine and all the jam making but the poor old back is suffering, never mind, keep plodding on.

Why was my previous post edited what_the_heck I'm sure I didn't use any bad language confused

Jan...did you mean the Oded Schwartz book - only I've searched all the way through (twice) and can only find the pink grapefruit curd recipe (which you didn't like).

In the meantime will get on with using up some cherries we have just picked from our tiny little Morello cherry tree. Our first ever crop of morello cherries and got 650 grams - not a huge amount but will make a couple of jars of jam and we are pleased as punch as it was a cheap little tree from Aldi's so wasn't really expecting much from it smile

Ah, sorry Maura, it was in another one, not sure who I gave that to, and as not at home now, I can't copy it for you, I've done the river cottage version before though. If it can wait a week, I'll dig it out for you when I'm home.

No worries Jan

I'll find one somewhere I'm sure - enjoy the green green landscape and the craic and I hope the sun comes out for you at some stage cool
