A bargain!  I've no idea if we have an Asda here.

I'll try that again!

i Bought four packs last night as they had loads of Scottish strawberrys  in the reduced to clear section. Superb quality only threw 2 strawberrys out from 8 packs. 😀  They also had lemons and limes, so bought them as my eldest boy loves lemon and lime marmalade.

These will have to be my last batches this year as I have ran out of room to store any more.  ( anyone believe  that I will see something and not be able to resist??? )

Thanks for those tips, guys. Where to find economical jars is a constant and popular theme on here at this time of year. Always well worth stocking up for next year whenever you come across bargains.

no asda on the island cry but I did find a box of 11 old kilner jars at a car boot sale back in the summer for the princely sum of £5   smile   - 6 had rusty lids though! Always worth checking out the boxes under the stalls as most people tend to look at table height.
