Freeze it, Tina?  I freeze mine in suitable portion sizes.

Sorry, don't know a ketchup recipe.  I know Janet makes ketchup, she doesn't get on here all that often, perhaps you could ask her on FB?

Did not really want to Freeze it Sue, as this Family don't understand Portion Sizes, they ladle it on.  I suppose if I went down the Water Bath Route, that would do, anyway shelved for the moment.  I used to make Tomato Sauce, from Tinned Tomatoes when I had three Teenage Boys in the House, but lost the recipe, sure I invented it anyway.chef

Saw this one (ketchup), Tina, a lot of folk seem to like it ..!

... and for the apple sauce, what about this one (freezing it is probably the best way, Tina, but in large boxes!!) whistle

Thank you Val, no making in bulk, but just as you need it, might freeze though. Looks good though, will take it down and try it.

wave Think I am going to have lots of green tomatoes so will probably make Fiona's green tomato chutney.  It is so good.

Me too Danuta, but we have had a couple of Days of Sun, so maybe will be less than I first thought.  But I love it anyway, Green Tomato Chutney. that is.

Found five or six Jars of Bread and Butter Pickle at the back of the Cupboard.  Should be used within three Months, as the Cucumber goes soft, opened a Jar, as have been buying Gherkins this last while, and although the Cucumber had gone soft, because I had cut the Slices Chunky, the outside was still firm, and had 'bite'. Will remember that for this Year. Enjoying it, and saving Money on Gherkins.laugh

I never tasted a sweet chutney. Only sour and spicy chutneys.
