spoke to chamber of commerce today re training.  I will be able to do the course in sept; however the man said it was fine as I only had to do the course by the end of the first year of trading!!! Before then apparently It is fine to poison people due to a lack of training

Love it! Soundslike the Latvian approach sometimes, but then there are other times when you have loads of hoops to jump through - guess it depends on the staff at the end of the day

I think so too!  The guy at the chamber of commerce was at a loss as to why the H+S person had told me to be trained as in his words jam is safe!!

Good for you.  It might help you in the future.  Take a deep breath before going on-line then relax afterward.

I didn't know arches could jut fall, I hope the pain goes very soon.Big_Hug

Sorry, Shelley, I was sort of speed-reading and interpreted "arch" as a somewhat similar word and wondered how one's arse could fall without the aid of copious amounts of alcohol Eeek

Do you mean the arch in your foot?

nope it was indeed the arch in my foot; still sore but not so bad

Have gone online and registered the company ; just neeed to send off form and copy of passport in post tomorrow.

Spent day making jam ready for the start; black cherry, apricot and melon and ginger so far; exotic fruits tomorrow.

Feel a bit scared about it all; but I am sure it will be worth it in the end!!Eeek
