Here's another variation on the filled pancake theme, this time with duck & fennel. I have some slow-braised duck in my freezer & a fresh bulb of fennel in my veg basket. Actually I also have some I dried in the dehydrator last autumn, but I think I will use that to whizz up with other spices & dried herbs to make a rub to flavour steamed fish.

At the end of the article there is a huge list of links to other pancake recipes.

I wondered if this article might be of interest to members, regrading dietary advice for Diabetics.

I'll try that again!

An interesting article & site, TA, I have seen & heard similar remarks before from other doctors. I also found some interesting information on SAD on there. I shall go on poking around to see what I can find. Thank you for posting it.  big_hug  rose

Another quinoa recipe here that could be adapted for whatever you are able to add, and a list of blogs here on a new to me GF blog--I haven't checked them all out, but lots of them look interesting.

Hi Barbara,

What a great list of blogs, lots to read & I love the quinotto recipe & so easy & quick to cook. Thank you.

It is so good having this forum to share our finds with each other. I know I don't need to be GF but a lot of the recipes are delicious in their own right. It has certainly broadened my horizons, foodwise.

I am glad the links are useful! I like the way the GF bloggers sometimes post lists of others, often from a recipe meet, sometimes for other reasons, and when I remember I have a look at some of them. There are far too many for me to try to follow them all.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to cook these to make waffle cones, without a panini press doh I don't have a sandwich maker (gave it to daughter a while ago) and I am not sure what else would work. I would like to have ice cream cones again. cry

How about cooking them in a griddle pan then wrapping them around these.

I'll try that again!

Thanks! I wondered if there was a way of cooking both sides at once, being impatient! I do have a cast-iron griddle.
