Mushroom and cheese omelette with baby corn cobs and mixed veg and *whispers* [frozen shop bought] potato rosti.  Yesterday and day before was home made veggie cottage pie, and it was excellent if I do say so myself.  It should have lasted 3 days but we both had an extra half helping on Monday so it didn't.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy, and taste good with ketchup.

I hate suet & the way it coats the roof of my mouth.

Isn't it funny how folks differ, Nadine!

I adore the way suet sticks to the roof of my mouth, especially a sweet suet pudding. Mmmmm <choking-emoticon-as-arteries-suddenly-harden>

Last night was our favourite sausage and canellini bean thingy. Love that bigtime.

Tonight is chicken risotto, using up the very last of Sunday's roast leftovers.

Never knowingly underfed

off to eat my leftover cottage pie, with baked beans tonight (cordon bleu or what!) – we've had toasted pittas from the freezer with humus (from the CFC counter) to start, and a few glasses of wine – well it is friday

Calves liver, pots, peas, bacon & gorgeous onion gravey, I was royally fed – it was A's turn to cook tonight.

Tomorrow is my turn, Ham Hock. Going in the slow cooker tonight with a few odd bits. It will be left to cool in the cooking liquid then taken out, the skin removed but the fat left on. Coat it in mustard, sugar and honey and a few other bits and pieces and roasted in the oven tomorrow night for dinner (or supper if you are posh!).

I might have the body of a decrepid old man but my mind is as sharp as a boulder

You do eat well!  Supper in Wales was not posh, we had breakfast, dinner, tea and supper, dinner was thought to be posh if you ate it at night.  big_laugh

I'll try that again!

Guess I have gone down in the world then as we have dinner around 1pm and tea in the evening! It works better as I have found I sleep more soundly without a full stomach!

Glad I am not the only one who does such things. I now have a freezer pen and nearly always label things!

Me too. I accidentally added a small portion of hoi sin sauce to a large pot of bolognese; and there have been planned stew nights that turned out to be curry nights. Cue much speedy defrosting of naan breads!

Chicken soup for tomorrow in the slow cooker. Tonight mackerel cooked in harissa paste and orange juice and zest with roasted pine nuts and coriander plus leeks and spring cabbage.Nice contrast between spicy fish and green veg.

Kateuk makes things at http://www.etsy.com/shop/finkstuff and sometimes she does this too http://www54paintings.blogspot.com/ and also this http://finkstuff.weebly.com/
