Good to have you back my dear, be strong tomorrow.  Wine

My darling has a cold, so we ate at the local Bangla resto,  the staff all know us very well and treat us accordingly.  D said that he wanted a very hot chilli dish to kill the cold so they made something that has 'never been known to fail' for him.  Jeez, was he sweating when we came out!  I hope he is better tomorrow, there is nothing like a man with a new cold...Whistle

I'll try that again!

Man flu!!  WhistleBig_Laugh  Hope he's feeling better.

I didn't have time for the foraging but made a braised green veg topped with cheese thing.  Very nice it was too.  Tonight I fancy trying a spiced root recipe I have at home.  I'm sure I got it off the BBC Good Food site before but can't seem to find it now but I think it was a Gordon Ramsey effort. It was pretty much just chop up carrots and parsnips into lozenges and toss one lot in chinese 5 spice and the other in…something I can't quite remember at the mo but I deffo have it at home.  Anyway, I'll give it a whirl and probably do a big dishfull so as to provide meals for the freezer too.

What's everyone else having?

Man Flu!  Bless him, I haven't seen him yet today But I hope he's better.

I saw your Greens & Cheese dish, looks good.  I'm doing Spag Bol for tonight, I bought a pork chop and a piece of steak which I've chopped up and am now cooking gently.  I don't like to use minced beef if I can avoid it.  I hope you find your recipe...

I'll try that again!

Stir fry and noodles with loads of chives- my chives have gone mental and are ENORMOUS. Trying to keep up with their stupendous growth rate.

Kateuk makes things at http://www.etsy.com/shop/finkstuff and sometimes she does this too http://www54paintings.blogspot.com/ and also this http://finkstuff.weebly.com/

Too tired to do much at all, so cold Ratte new potatoes, but fried nice'n'crispy, together with quiche and salad. Followed by yogurt.

That's probably all I'm capable of today. Sorry

Pizza, dough done in food processor for speed, frozen tomatoes, 2 for 1 mushrooms from my recent supermarket foray (first time since Christmas), anchovies, not sure what else. Must get started before P arrives!

Soppy baby type food is all I can eat tonight.  Actually I had cottage cheese mixed with hard boiled eggs with some equally soft salady things.  It was good if not very substantial.

Had a tooth out Joanna and the denture put in on top. Bit better today, but it is not fitting properly yet so digs in when eating.

Joanna did you get a PM from me last week?
