I always have a list - I have a little blackboard and chalk where I jot down things I need when they get a bit low!

Maybe I could never remember as I have made lists since I was a child............doh  whistle

I have masses of them, for different subjects.....I also keep a day book where I write down messages/telephone numbers, web-sites, bills paid that day, etc.

I used to keep a journal but I don't any more. It was a bit too self-indulgent.  roll_eyes

Posted at same time probably, a common occurrence as we are real chatter boxes!
I am a list person too but since having the iPad I keep it all on here so no need for loads of notebooks. That is the theory anyway but I love getting a new notebook to use!

Anyone else care to confess that they sometimes add something to a list just so they can immediately cross it off? big_laugh

I could do with a master list of my lists...

For food, like Nadine, I do a monthly online shop and picking from my favourites list makes it a much quicker and easier job. I avoid the special offers unless it's something I always buy anyway. I have a menu and buy for that, don't have any leftovers or unused perishables that way. The online delivery is cheaper than a taxi home, and I regularly get vouchers back from asda's 10% cheaper deal, often more than enough to cover delivery. The rest of the month I shop at the greengrocer and local shop, jotting down what's needed on the kitchen white board as I run short. I couldn't do without my lists!

Never assume anything - except an occasional air of intelligence.

I admit I have a small list of things we need, but I don't plan dinners for the week, I tend to make it up as I go along. The nearest I get to planning and shopping for that plan is maybe on a weekend.
