Dear All, have explained on the weather Forum, what happened, so will write an up to date potted history. I have been masquerading under the name of Christine ,on the forums, indeed ,it is my name for high days and holidays, never at any time have I been called this , but always Tina, I am a lady of uncertain age and often of uncertain mind. I love my Garden, and grow everything I can, which I either freeze , pot, or make into ointments.I also make Cards to sell to help animals, and Soap, for presents, when the need arises.. I am almost Vegetarian, but eat fish, so suppose am a Pescetarian, really. Am a Nicherin Shoshu Buddist, and have been for 25 years. Love to have friends for Lunch, and meetings here. I am disabled and walk with a Walker, can,t manage far, bottom of the Garden then have to sit.

Please ask me anything you like, will be pleased to answer.

Ooh, I like that name!  Tina no Sprouts  big_laugh.  I shall investigate your Buddhism, it has always interested me but don't have the dedication...embarassed.

I should like to know about your ointments, such as what types do you make and what do they treat?

I'll try that again!

I used to make all sorts of Creams, but now, only make on a regular basis, Calendula Ointment, which is very good at treating everything. It heals and soothes, it is wonderful. I make Rosemary oil, well not much making there ,Only steep the Rosemary in the Oil. I grow masses of Calendulas each Summer, and pick them when they are full and fresh, not by the light of the Moon, or any of that. Mind you I did do a bit of larking around in the Woods when Iwas young, did,nt we all!

Your last comment made me laugh aloud, Tina!  big_laugh

I have used commercial Calendula cream in the past but magine that your hand made one would be a lot more effective.  I believe that Turmeric has a similar effect - an Indian colleague used to use it all the time, also as a drink in winter to stave off colds and chest infections.

I'll try that again!
