How are the childer doing?  They must be almost grown by now!  

Orn is 5 and 'helping' her mum play a game on the x-box! The youngest is upstairs playing and is suspiciously quiet! They both enjoy helping me in the kitchen by getting in the way, shoving each other about and helping me weight out and mix things.

Hi, I love growing edibles in my rather unruly (I call it wildlife friendly habitat) garden.

I've just spent the evening crushing and pressing windfall apples, using a drill powered crusher and a wooden press that I borrowed from my neighbours. The juice is v tasty, but it has taken HOURS!  I suspect the consuming will take a lot less time...sloe_gin

Hi Thyme, what Edibles have you grown this year. am picking Tomatoes, Lettuce, well, you name it really, this is Harvest Time, and the living is easy.  Making Chutney at the moment trying to use up a bit of the Glut. Bet that Apple Juice is yummy. x
