Hi Everyone,

Thanks to Danny for pointing me in the right direction, didn't intend to make such a blinding error, but as I said it was the first post I'd ever made on a forum.sorry

Had a good look around your site and there's loads of interesting stuff here, so if there's anything I can add that would be great. The owners of the Gangani Prize Farmhouse have asked me to post on their behalf and spread any tips they can pass on from restoring and running a smallholding on a shoestring for 20 years.

Their main concern is that the Farmhouse be won by someone who cares about the countryside and may be willing to take on their 19 year old jacob sheep and one remaining 11 year old bantam (the fox ate the other 5 last year!)

Look forward to meeting you all

Tim

Hi Tim.....well, everyone has to learn sometime!  Welcome, anyway.

Just a quick question - why don't the owners of the farmhouse join up here and post themselves, particularly since they appear to have already known about this forum?  Sounds like they have plenty of knowledge and experience to pass on, and we'd be glad to hve them here.

Hi Sooliz,

I suggested they spread the word around some like-minded people, but they're far from spring chickens themselves and don't use the internet so asked me to pass things on for them. Hope that's OK?

wave  Hi Tim and welcome to the Forum.  I am sure no one will mind you passing things on.  And what about you? Are you going to stay with us?
