My granddaughter, Selina, is due her  first baby, the first week in November, another little Scorpio in the family, good, another little sting in the Tail person, who constantly opens their Mouth, and depending on your view of the situation, either puts their Foot in it, or tells it like it is.

Ah, Tina, that explains a lot - our grandson is a Scorpio, he is four, nearly five, and he does ask some 'awkward' questions ..... like "When are we going to die?"

Bless.

And, he's adorable.  No, of course I'm not biased. whistle

In defence of Scorpios, I was married to one for 15 years. Level headed, I would say.

Did anyone else hear on the radio this morning that the Lottery will be charging £2 per go from today?

Strangely, yesterday on Radio 2, Jeremy Vine was discussing companies' profits etc.

A caller rang and said there was nothing wrong with 'profit', but there is something wrong with 'greed'.

That conversation came back to me today, when I heard about the Lottery's decision .....

I think its a disgrace that they are asking for £2 for something that is purely luck. Doing the lottery is supposed to be a bit of fun- not an investment. It would interesting to see the Lottery's end of yr accounts................. wink

Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you'll look back and realise they were big things x

If everyone refused to buy any tickets for a couple of weeks they might adjust their thinking!

You are right, of course Aly, but the chances of that happening ??

There are times when I think we should stand up for things we believe in - but generally we don't, do we?

Premium Bonds used to have £50 as the minimum winnings, and at some point all winnings were halved (now £25) - it wasn't advertised very loudly, either! steam
