Emma bought the soft toy roast chicken and we both think it's great but at the moment Orn isn't too impressed. We had to pose that photo because she wouldn't voluntarily pick it up and play with it, although she does love Captain Calamari, who is the octopus toy you can see to the right of the photo.

On Sunday, my mum and dad took me to watch the olympic football at the local stadium.

I wasn't very interested in the football but I enjoyed wriggling and fidgeting. I didn't cry much and a middle aged lady sitting nearby commented on how well I'd behaved.

Dear Child, how wonderful.  Don't let them take you to football again though, promise?

I'll try that again!

Did you have to buy a ticket too? Well done for managing to look interested, I have never succeeded with that one! Was it the England game?

I didn't need a ticket because I sat on mummy or daddies lap during the games. The nasty ticket people originally claimed I would need a ticket but the only ones available were in a different section to where mum and dad were sitting. I think enough parent must have yelled at them and they eventually changed their minds.
