Hey Rae - just looked at your etsy shop - erm, there's nothing there
See, I was thinking that perhaps I ought to have an etsy shop. I really would like to sell my bags, etc, but the clientele just isn't right here. Maybe an etsy shop is the answer?
Is it difficult to set up?

- etsy used to be the best site, but lately Folksy has improved by leaps and bounds and is way simpler to set up and use (and is all in £ and p not $ ).Many more people look at the stuff in my folksy shop than my etsy shop.Etsy is still biggest in the USA, folksy is a UK site and increasingly folksy is where uk customers go to browse for 'stuff'.
You need a reasonable camera that can handle close-ups, doesn't need to be wildly good- my 99p on ebay camera does me proud- the lighting is the important thing, just make sure the light is bright enough to show everything.

Kate, I have spent about an hour looking through the bags for sale on Folksy, and I reckon maybe I could join up to that site. I'll have to think about how to organise it - as I don't have a Paypal a/c - yet!!
Many thanks for your help and advice. Much appreciated.

Thankee! It's been nearly done for ages, so I had a cocnerted effort over the weekend to get it all finished up and framed. Now to frame the bears in the rain picture for my neice's birthday next week. Don't know how I'll get that to her... might have to pass that on to my mum also, or swadle it in bubblewrap and post it maybe.
Odelle.
