How about "Winds" - as in March winds .......  ?

"How do you spell 'Love'?" (Piglet).

"You don't spell it, you feel it" (Pooh).

'A hug,' said Pooh 'is always the right size!'

wave  I still think we should stick to Elements - greater scope.

Yes I don't think I fancy winds in March, even lateral thinking doh don't think what is left of our polytunnel would take that.

I agree with Danuta - keep a wide scope so as to give us all a reasonable chance to get some shots.  I've just been browsing our February photos, and am really proud of all of us.  I just can't decide which is my favourite one - I've narrowed it down to 3, but can't quite decide. ponder

Gone crazy. Back soon.

wave  Should we all choose our favourite then?  That would be a good idea.

Oh dear - it's going to be down to 'Eeny Meeny Miney Mo' for my choice, then.  If you look on our Flickr page under Group Discussions you will see a thread where I suggested that our overall favourite each month could perhaps be put into a set so that we build up a Group Calendar over the year of our group favourite shots.  What do you think?  Also, which is the best thread to gather together our selected choices - this thread or the Calendar one on Flickr (assuming enough of us are interested in this little project?  Meanwhile, back to Flickr for me for my Eeny Meany moment! what_the_heck

Right, I'm posting my favourite for February here, just for now. Just pipped TA's clementines and Janet's aconites to the post.  I love the warm glow of the lighting in this one.  Is this linking to the chosen pic the best way for us to register our favourites?  I can't think of anything simpler.  Won't it be a laugh if we all choose different ones - we'll have to have a 'cameras at dawn' standoff! big_laugh

Gone crazy. Back soon.

this is my favourite, I think.

They're all pretty spiffy though.

Lovely shots, all. Janet's lemon curd shot makes me feel all warm and cosy with the cosy lighting (am tempted to go all poncey and call it wood-fire lighting).

Joanna, the daybreak/sunset shot is quality.I would frame that. Beautiful. Which was it, dawn or evening?

But the magic in Danuta's simple shot of the "back garden" is very unusual and takes me back to look at it again and again. I woud love to be a kid playing in that spot. There be faeries, surely!

Never knowingly underfed

Evening Danny. Those are my thoughts too Danny, it just has that otherworldliness about it which I love in Scotland.

What a brilliant idea!welldone  A monthly calendar of all the best voted pictures of each month, now that would be something interesting.  There's some fantastic 'shots', difficult to decide which I like the best, a good look again ponder& try to decide which I prefer.

Well done to all of you that have contributed the most beautiful pictures.  Hopefully by the end of the year I can afford a new P.C. which will allow me to contribute, no way will I ever be able to compete with the fantastic pics, it would be good to be able to take part.

So, all you talented people please keep  up the excellent work with your cameras, at least I can enjoy the wonderful 'seasons' in all their beauty.  Back for more viewing.magic
