Good morning all, looking through the feathers that were needed for a hat, I was looking for a simple way to prepare feathers for making pillows and such like as I have so many duck down feathers and Geese too. All hints and tips would be appreciated and who knows maybe some of you will start a new wave of pillow making.

That sounds very brave, Robert !

Found this site, though I can see why you will need hints and tips - because it isn't easy finding good info on the web!

You will probably need a mask, too so that you don't inhale anything you shouldn't!! laugh

"How do you spell 'Love'?" (Piglet).

"You don't spell it, you feel it" (Pooh).

'A hug,' said Pooh 'is always the right size!'

Good luck with that project, how are you going to clean the feathers before use?

I'll try that again!

Yes it's the cleaning that I most concerned about and how to do it, I am having a job finding information on this matter, maybe RUTH goodman would know but how to contact her I know not.
