I think you're right, Sue. When we get back from France, and go to collect our little one, I'll take the remainder with me, as my niece has two dogs, both eat everything, a bit like dustbins the pair of 'em!big_laugh

"How do you spell 'Love'?" (Piglet).

"You don't spell it, you feel it" (Pooh).

'A hug,' said Pooh 'is always the right size!'

Hope your niece's dogs like them, Val.

I found another recipe for peanut dog cookies, such a simple recipe, it's 240g wholemeal flour (or a GF flour if your dog is wheat sensitive), 260g peanut butter (the recipe says chunky but Betty prefers smooth!), 240ml skimmed milk and a tsp of baking powder (not sure why you'd need that as the biscuits don't really need to rise, I may leave it out).  You just mix it all together, knead on a floured surface for 1 min, roll out and cut into shapes (says it makes about 100 1" biscuits).  Bake for about 20 mins at 190c Gas 5, then if you want them crunchier, turn oven off and leave them in for a further 20 mins.  I may make half the quantity first just to see if Betty likes them.

Today I've done a fishy dinner for her.....steamed cauliflower, broccoli, grated carrots and parsley mashed and mixed with canned mashed sardines, another week's worth.  I had to put her out in the garden whilst doing it, as she was practically climbing up my legs!

Made two lots of dog food - turkey and veg yesterday, white fish and veg today, 12 or 14 days' worth altogether.  Also made another load of sardine oatcakes.
