What 'status' do you need, Shelley, to be able to join them ?

Well, I suppose it's another way to get some more funds from you ..... our neighbour told us that any improvement to one's home (normally, planning is required just to change the windows, for example, and of course then, that's an improvement!) then the tax is increased!

Luckily Shelley, you don't dwell on these things, which is great!

Yes, I think Kate's right, some English foods would go down rather well, although it's a bit more tricky, preparing them at the time (jam is easier to store and make ahead).

Good Luck, Shelley

I need simply to earn more than half my main job's wages each month.. simple as that!!!  I wanted to join to get much cheaper training that I need!

Would be happy to make uk food; cakes, puddings etc, but as you say logistically it is diff: perhaps if the business ever means I can give up the other job, so have more time!

You cant dwell on anything in france as there is so much beauracracy that everything is a struggle!!

Good news though;;; the health authorities finally gave in and let hubby have his health card again today...only took a 2 page missive in french from me to persuade them!!!!!

Not all the time!!

Had second day at the market today¦ wet and very cold!

Still managed to Take 35euros though; so not all bad.  Also met some more of the other stall holders as was placed in a different spot.  They are all soo friendly and pleasant and one of them has contacts in a famers shop in a local town; he has taken my sales leaflet to see if they would sell some of my jams!

I have attached photos of the stall here.

Enjoy!

Oh, Shelley, that stall looks wonderful!  I'm so glad you made some more money and contacts and I hope the latter turn out to be very helpful indeed.  You did look cold...big_hug

I'll try that again!

Well done, Shelley.  Lovely pics of your market stall, and I really enjoyed reading your blog.  Even though my French is extremely rusty these days, I managed most of it.  I hope you get a good following and it pays handsomely.welldone
