How will you manage without a fridge in hot weather? Don't think I would ever get OH to do without the Telly. It has been quiet all week without him as usually the box is on most of the day even when he is outside! Need to make more effort to convert him!

Trying to enjoy life as it is

just remember the wretched energy company that owns the meter will still bill you once its turned off, most have a daily charge plus your still liable for the government greehouse claptrap charge if its switched off . They also charge £800 to take the damned thing out...bless their penny pinching hearts

Nige, I think many people envy the way you are gradually going "off grid".

Good stuff.

How is Jade taking to having no telly?

Hey Kate, good to see you!  Mutters has 'gorn orf' again but it has been so good to have him back for a short while.  Still sewing 'me duck' ( NorthBucks dialect)?

I was in a Charity shop today, saw a hat and thought of you...

I'll try that again!

Mutley, you just pop in and out again when we are not around and we can't have a proper conversation with you (as if we ever did! big_laugh) but I am always ridiculously pleased to see that you have been here again.  We miss you.

I'll try that again!

Nige - I am amazed and pleased that Jade is not wanting the telly back.

Excellent, Great credit to her.

Your solar sounds successful - good stuff.
