Thanks, Danuta. That is a very practical suggestion. I had forgotten about your experience planning your community kitchen.

Aren't the ley line connections intriguing? Fiona thought that ley lines went from church to church, like from ours to Kirtling. But I now realise that many churches must have been built on ley lines, probably on the site of older worship spots.

Fascinating indeed.

No, BS/TA, this in not a ley lines thread! big_laugh

Ahem, TA. Lovely image but even "aisle" would be too big a word for the teeny emporium big_laugh .

Plural won't even come into the equation!

Just how big is the barn, Danny?

(Considering there was talk of installing kitchen, etc.)

"How do you spell 'Love'?" (Piglet).

"You don't spell it, you feel it" (Pooh).

'A hug,' said Pooh 'is always the right size!'

Fiona has been trying to get planning advice on the phone from the "Duty Manager" of our local authority with little success. roll_eyes

Fortunately, she remembered this morning that the lean-to is referred to as a workshop in the listing notes for the house, where it is Grade 2 listed (no idea where those records are kept). Just delete the "work" and there we go! cheers

Now, surely that cannot be too difficult? doh

F is a very determined and persistent being. The term "terrier" comes to mind brightsparklystuff

I believe that she will win out on the plannings front. Not so sure about generating business apart from online here in her site/blog.

Time will tell. ok pint

Danny it may be policy to check with the planning office for previous planning approval for the Workshop ,you may already have something you can revive or change use off from a previous business use

sit down with a cupa and the urge will subside

That's a good idea, Mos. Thanks.

This morning the unfriendly Duty Officer lady was not impressed by Workshop when Fiona spoke with her. We still have to apply for permission, have a draughtsman draw up plans - the whole shemozzle. Even though all we intend to do is insulate the walls and probably slap on some paint.

Bureaucracy must have its way. monster
