Saving energy with Hay Box/Shuttle Chef

Yesterday someone emailed me asking for recipes for the Thermos Shuttle Chef - a sort of state of the art answer to the old fashioned hay box. It can be used to bake bread and cakes too.

After a bit of research I discovered that the company importing these into the UK is no longer going to sell them = reviews are great but sales are slow. This is a real shame as they save a lot of energy.

I've decided to start experimenting with a hay box. There's a good DIY design for one here. We even have the Eski in the barnSmile

Does anyone have experience of hay box/shuttle chef cooking? If so I'd love to hear any of your tips and tricks.
