Hallo! :bashful smile:

I wondered off to explore the rest of the interweb and got lost. It's good to be back though. There's so much to catch up on...

Arrh Aly! Probably best let him get on with it then I guess. Can't be having brick dust getting in the work, unless of course you want an instant aged look cheers

This one will interest a few of us!

There is a thread on pallets but want to put this here. We had several pallets left from the Gite roof tiles.......they have made a duck house and a goose house.

What is now cluckingham palace we re roofed with tiles found in our barns and put in two lines of greenhouse glass to give light in winter months.

Will be adding to this!

Aly, you're right, it should interest quite a few.

My bro made an owl house out of a pallet. He also made staging in Mum's greenhouse a few moons ago, too, just from a pallet.

I follow a blog, called http://www.michelemademe.com/, and I have made many things from her resourcefulness. Most recent was a cardboard tube from a toilet roll, cut in regular 'slices', then stuck together to make a support for a hot saucepan (a trivet) - it worked a treat! See here. Go to 'tutorials' and see the sort of things she makes. ok

Our back garden fence was made by husband using pallets, he was lucky enough to be given a couple of trailer's worth of really good strong sturdy ones.  He took them all apart, carefully removing all the nails, and made a lovely picket-type fence with them.  My sister helped him paint them, on one of her working holidays down here - she always likes to get stuck in with something in the garden (she can do that as much as she likes big_laugh ).  He's also used pallet wood to make all the raised beds.

We upcycle/recycle lots of things nowadays.....I'll add more when I think of more!
