Just thought I'd resuggest this idea since its the end of the year.

How about putting a cap (ending/locking) on the long threads and restart a new thread under the same name plus the date, as in "Achievements Of The Day 2012".

Just thought I'd set out a sugestion/reminder, as the really long threads get a little unweildly to load...

Happy New Year!

I don't think I have the ability to do that but I shall look into it in a moment.  If not, give Danny a shout out and he'll be able to lock it.

I'll try that again!

I can't see a way to lock threads so you will have to ask Danny to do it - sorry.

I'll try that again!

I hear you, TA, I hear you big_laugh

Yes, good idea Michelle. Let's nominate the likely suspects. I guess the story of 4 words for starters.

Random thoughts

Rant of the day

Any others?

Danny. I've just found a button to lock topics when I'm in the 'reply' area, will that work do you think?

I'll try that again!

Probably, Toni. For me (and it should be the same for you) when I click on a forum like this one (Suggestion Box) the little tool icon appears beside each topic and that contains the Lock feature to lock that topic. Give it a try.

4 words is at 418 pages (yikes!)

Weather is at 210 pages.

Rant is 28 pages.

Random is 73 pages.

And Joke of the day is 33.

I'll try that again!

Nah its that mythical time between getting home from the pub and emerging bleary eyed from under the duvet .aparently a few people inhabit these times for meditation purposes but there is no other reason for them ,or useful gleenings to be had big_laughwhistle
