Thanks.

I think we all get edited from time to time Maura, it's not just you (I know I do!).  I don't think it's to do with doing something wrong as such......From my experience as a Mod on a couple of other forums, I would say it's generally something like fixing a broken link, adjusting a long-winded quote to show just the relevant bit, correcting a mis-spelling of the name of something, or just generally tidying up a post so it reads better and easier.  Nothing to be worried about anyway.  I'm sure you'd be contacted if you were doing something wrong.

Precisely right Sue, thank you.  Sometimes I also correct spelling, simply for clarity.

I'll try that again!

Oh right big_laugh I was getting worried.

The 's' button on my keypad has always been iffy and sometimes if I don't check my typing carefully to make sure it's all ok it makes for very bizarre reading roll_eyes

And some of us the posts are far beyond the ability of any mod edit to attempt to make legible wink

Personally I blame the iPad that predicts what I am typing! My fault I know for not checking.

I don't possess an iPad, but I do know that the mobile phone 'keyboard' is so easy to press the neighbouring key or function by mistake! Also, to 'not notice' that the predictive text has typed the wrong thing.   steam

My old phone I had to turn predictive text off every time - so I soon got fed up with that when it was just a reply to the kids to say "message received and understood" so they came to realise that when Mum said "Monkl" it meant "OK"

Then I changed my handset, and was able to turn off the predictive permanently, so there was a small campaign to persuade me to type in  "Monkl", since it made them feel secure.

I don't have any excuse- I usually type on a full size keyboard- brain faster than hands and which  can't keep pace.

Are we having fun yet? I am!
