And I thought you had done it just to make me happy, Danny, or maybe to shut me up for griping over the changes !! big_laughwhistle

Well even if it just arrived out of the blue, please don't loose it.

Did your guy arrive to sort the  picture problem out ? Your weekend certainly was not very peaceful this week. Getting back to work tomorrow will seem like a holiday.

big_hug to you & fn

peace

Nadine - unfortunately, I made a mistake when giving him access details for the site. He emailed to tell me that five minutes after we had left for the village fete frown

 Tomorrow is another day.

Aly, I know nothing about iPads. The problem is that any browser does not pick up every background file from our site every time you visit. That is deliberate to speed up browsing and many types of files rarely change so it's not usually a problem.

But our stylesheet that governs layout has been changing frequently over the past few days. On a PC, Ctrl and F5 forces a complete download of all files from our site, thus refreshing your brower.

Who else on here uses an iPad? Ideally, we want Aly to clear her browser cache

Yes, same here, think Danny's said he's working on that.  Bet he wishes he'd never started all this! big_laughbig_hug.  Bless him.

Thanks Sue.  When I logged in for the first time today there were 12 unread items then, after I had read the first one, there were only five - I feel a bit cheated now.

I'll try that again!

Crikey I hadn't thought of that, I must check out Firefox.  I shall report back in a while.

I'll try that again!

Well I use Chrome & mine just stays wide. Mind you with this new laptop the screen is wider than the old one. Mine is looking perfect. Earlier I had problems & lost 2 posts.....they just flew off into the great NOWHERE.....!!  aargh

Yes I get wide screens on replying and narrow screen view on browsing- also had 30 posts to read this morning, only looked at one, then logged in again now and only 5 posts marked as unread!. Much clearer typeface with this new version.

Are we having fun yet? I am!
