Morning Sue.

Your friend is right, they often are not too special but occassionally something important goes through so however annoying suggest that you let it do it's thing.

As for cheeky bugger, well I am shocked, how could you say such a thing.

Just about to have my breakfast of the usual deep fried muesli.

It will take me a few years to work out this face book thingy! OH found me as I am in his email book. I am out for morning and lunch today, walking club this morning followed by lunch. Will work on this problem when home again. I cannot find how to change the privacy settings and cannot find any of you!
Confused in France!

Aly, click on your name on your FB page, then on Edit Profile (top right hand side).  You should then see a list of things you can change on the left hand side, at the bottom of which is "You can also visit your Privacy Settings" - click on that.

Hope this helps big_hug

Morning Cheeky b.....erm, Chris winkwhistle

My friend does his updates individually, he checks and chooses the ones to do, I think.  However, he advises me to set mine to do it automatically (he knows I have neither the knowledge nor patience to do it any other way dohembarassed), so I do let my laptop just do its own thing......which it seems to be awfully good at doing ponder

Enjoy your, erm, rabbit food big_laugh.  I actually quite like muesli, but it's too much chewing and effort for early in the morning big_laughbig_laugh

It was very strange. My laptop connected to my Three  MiFi wouldn't work, but tethered to my T-Mobile phone would. My phone connected to the Three  MiFi would also work.

All very strange. confused

surprised I see you're really living up to your nickname!!!  And I'll have you know I'm a lot younger than you and have all teeth present and correct (AND they're all my own originals, not bought or borrowed winkbig_laugh)

Anyway, I thought this thread was about the forum out, not about missing bodily parts roll_eyeswhistle

Sue, you are right on both counts firstly you are a lo9t younger than me but then again most people are and also this is supposed to be a thread about 'outage'.

Incidently my teeth are all my own too, goodness knows why or how, I haven't exactly been very caring about them, guess I have just been lucky, so far - just don't come over here and punch them out!!!

On that happy note I have just got the motorbike out, having had the battery on charge last night and am going to give it a wash and then off for a couple of hours to give it (and me) and airing.

Right, with the help of Sue I have made my privacy setting public if you know what mean! Still cannot find TA or Chris, at least there are 5 with the same name as Chris. Didn't expect it to be so difficult to set up Facebook!
