Does anyone else keep having to re input their login details again and again - despite ticking the inappropriately named "Remember me" box?
I have checked my settings and don't have anything ticked to clear history automatically.
It happens from time to time in a few other forums I use as well so not just here but seems to happen here more often.
Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening so frequently please or can you think of anything I might be doing that is causing it?
Many thanks
Maura

Now if it was just a minor annoyance I wouldn't have mentioned it but for me it is really annoying because I can never remember which password I assigned to this forum
I was told never to use the same password for every forum or website and I found out how useful this bit of advice was when a certain well know knitting forum I use got hacked and everyone had to change their passwords as these had been compromised. I had used the same password for that forum as I had for many others at the time and had to go through and change them all. Now I keep a record of the passwords I use in an old a-z address book but it is a right old phaff if you have to look it up each time.
Anyhoo.....if it isn't bothering anyone else then I'll just grin and bare it

Hi Maura,
It does it to me every now & then. It seems it is totally unpredictable as to when.
Hope you had a good Christmas & New Year.
Hi Nadine
Greetings to you as well - we had a nice quiet time thanks and glad it's all over with. I love the New year and the Spring and looking forward to seeing all the bulbs popping through.
Hope you are well and had a great time.

I use IE I wasn't too keen on layout of Firefox when I last looked at it. I know IE isn't very popular.
I have to type all my details in - it doesn't remember any of it and I don't get asked if I want IE to remember the details on this website although it used to ask me on a few other sites I used in the past so I'm wondering if it has stopped this function

I use IE and don't (well, rarely) have any problems with the 'remember me' function on here, or with the IE remembering details one on new sites.
Actually, now I come to think of it, I did have a problem for a while some time ago - no log in details remembered anywhere. It seems I had something or other turned off - a techie friend told me. How it came to be turned off I have no idea . Sorry, I can't remember what it was, but perhaps one of the more techie types will know. I've a feeling it may have been something to do with Tools and Internet Options - can't be more specific, sorry.
